When she is unfairly committed to the Institute for the Feeble-minded and Epileptic, Carrie Buck confronts Dr. Albert Priddy, a man hell-bent on saving society by means of forced sterilization. What follows is a battle that broils over into a steamy Virginia court room, as Carrie fights for her voice to be heard and her body to be her own.
